When you purchase salvaged materials, you're often getting a higher quality material, while supporting the reuse industry and your local economy. Contemporary items are often available at significant savings relative to new items.
So how do I go about using salvaged materials on my projects?
Identify places in your project where reusable building materials would fit, starting with the structural and ending with the fine details. Some of our customers have purchased our materials as major components for building complete houses; starting with reclaimed timbers and lumber for framing, windows and doors, reclaimed fir flooring, cabinetry, bathroom and lighting fixtures, as well as hardware.
