It is quite hard to picture ourselves trying to live without the handiness of a plastic credit card. But then again, a lot of people get into financial trouble in part due to their mishandling of credit cards. These things happen but can be avoided. First thing you must do is to avoid using your credit card for loans. Pay your monthly fee religiously. This is a very evident suggestion but still, too many people don’t seem to follow it. Never use the card for payments of loan because you would always run a big risk of eating in to your personal financial future. Another thing is to pay your credit card bills in full each month. The big sum of money that credit card companies charge if you are late has to be avoided… if paying in full is somehow impossible, at least pay twice the amount of your monthly minimum because it will still lessen the interest. Another one is to try asking for reduced fees and interest rates. The card companies make a huge deal off the use of their credit cards and the price of getting new clients is expensive so they are willing to negotiate most of the time.
